Cleveland dot plot in d3.js





This post describes how to build a Cleveland dot plot with d3.js. It is basically a lollipop plot with 2 data series represented for each group. This example works with d3.js v4 and v6


Lollipop section

Steps:

  • You probably want to understand how to build a basic lollipop plot first.

  • Then the idea is pretty much the same, building one circle per variable, and joining them with a line
